About The Wheel Crew

The Wheel Crew is a cycling tour organizer, for group cycling around Bulgaria.

The club was founded by two experienced and enthusiastic riders, Deyan (Bulgaria) and Frank (the Netherlands). Several years ago, they started to explore Bulgaria together on their bicycles. During these rides, they discovered great mountains roads, descents, cobbles, smooth tarmac and wonderful locations to visit.

Today, The Wheel Crew's team organizes regular tours around this beautiful country, offering both one-day and multiple-days tours for everyone's taste, providing its guests with the complete logistical and technical organization for each ride.

About us

Frank

Frank grew up around bicycles, as most Dutchmen do. He finished his first long distance ride when he was nine, crossing the Netherlands south to north.

As a teenager he gained Olympic status for another sport and cycling became a part of the sports routine when he was sixteen. Nowadays, cycling is still an everyday thing for Frank. A bike is part of his commute and he rides his road bike as often as he can. And when rain and wind prevent riding outdoors, he rides indoors.

Frank would love to show you the Dutch way of riding!

Deyan

Deyan is a cycling enthusiast since his early years. As a kid until this day, there is always a bicycle around him.

Being a bit of tech guy, he looks after his bikes very well and is always looking for ways to upgrade. Recently, he added a vintage Cilo to his collection. And we wouldn't be surprised to find a new bike in his collection soon. And he rides them all.

Being a Bulgarian, he would love to show you the beauty of his country. And Deyan cannot find of a better way than by bicycle!
